After two years online, the filmogrpahy section has finally been updated. So click on the link and read all about the projects Louis has been a part of. The gallery has also been updated with caps and stills from Louis’ early TV projects ‘Danni Lowinski’, ‘Wilsberg’ and ‘SOKO Köln’, so go check those out as well.
A short teaser for the upcoming BBC show ‘Life After Life’ has been released and you can see that below. You can catch a very short glimpse of Louis in it if you look for it. The first episode will be released on April 19 on BBC.
Fresh off the last post, Louis has been cast as the lead in another mini-series, ‘All The Light We Cannot See’ for Netflix. Read more over at Deadline.
Louis Hofmann (Dark, Land of Mine) is set as the male lead opposite Aria Mia Loberti in Netflix’s All The Light We Cannot See, a four-part limited series adaptation of Anthony Doerr’s Pulitzer Prize-winning bestseller, from Shawn Levy and Steven Knight. Also cast in the series Lars Eidinger (White Noise, Irma Vep) and newcomer Nell Sutton.
Loberti, who is blind, plays Marie-Laure, the blind teenager at the heart of the story, whose path collides with Werner (Hofmann), a German soldier, as they both try to survive the devastation of World War II in occupied France.
Hofmann’s Werner is a quietly pensive, handsome young German soldier who gets swept up in the brutality of war. Soulful, poetic and honorable with leading man looks, he has a strong moral compass in a complicated world.
According to Louis’ official United Agents page, he is set to appear in several new projects. Besides the upcoming ‘Seneca – On the Creation of Earthquakes’ and ‘The Forger’ (set to premiere at the Berlinale in a couple of weeks) that we already knew about, he is also set to appear in several English language TV mini-series. First up ‘Masters of the Air’, a story about WW II bomber fighters. And also ‘Life After Life’, a fantasy story about a woman who reborns after dying. Thirdly in ‘Ripley’, a story about a grifter scraping by in early 1960s New York, who is hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy to try to convince his vagabond son to return home. You can read more about those projects at the provided links.
A new headshot has also been released and you can see that in the gallery.
